In order to not go insane over the next two months I've taken a few strategic days off. Today was the first. Among a litany of other chores and tasks I channeled the Tazmanian Devil (you know, the cartoon one) and hacked up weeds, some sparse grass, a fern, a small maple tree and a few bulbs in a section of our yard for three tomato plants and a zucchini plant. In my fervor to garden I didn't snap a before shot of the actual space. Lucky for us there are several areas of the yard in need of TLC, (and a weedwacker or garden sheers), so the area looked a little something like this:
And now it looks like this:
Yay!
