Evolution

Dear 70-Something Woman Also Attending The Evening Event I Was Attending On Saturday Night,

The world has changed a lot in your lifetime, and with any luck the degree at which things have changed in your lifetime will also change in mine. I know it can be difficult to adapt to things; I am sure dishwashers were a hit. Disposable diapers probably were too, as were vaccinations and air conditioners. I hope you have enjoyed all of these amenities and advances in technology, because when I become Ruler of the World, you shall forever lose your cell-phone privileges. If you have a cell phone and you've give the number to at least one person, then there is a chance that one person could call you on your cell phone at any given time. This luxury, always being avaialble, is also a burden. A responsibility, if you will, that we all must take on, similar to your monthly cell phone bill. If you are intelligent enough to have survived seven(-ish) decades, and responsible enough to pay your bill monthly and thus still have a cell phone then how are you not smart enough or responsible enough to remember to turn it off or put it on vibrate when you are at an event in a quiet theater?!

Love,
Morgan
