The deck is mostly off and the roof of the deck if completely off. Translation: we are one step closer to the toxic heating-oil tank to be removed and the ground being de-toxified.
The deposit for the fancy new furnace is being paid this week. Translation: we'll have heat! (Not that we'll need it real soon, as we are almost into summer).
The appraiser will need to come back out to check that the necessary repairs have been made and then when he says "a-ok" FH and I will sign a huge stack of papers, write an even bigger check and become homewoners!
Our estimated closing date is still May 18th.
