My (I think it was) October issues of Everyday Food had a recipe for caramelized brussels sprouts. I tore out the recipe with every intentions of giving it to my dad--a true, blue brussels sprouts lover. Well, curiosity got the best of me tonight and never wanting to dismiss something without trying it I gave it a whirl.
Much to my surprise, they were delicious.
The moral of this story? Beets were bumped to the least favorite vegetable.
